Experiences that Lead to Lasting Change
Here’s how your people see training: “Leadership cares enough to invest in me!” This is one of the most powerful messages you can send to them and yields tangible rewards:
- 94% of people would stay with a company longer if it invested in their learning
- 68% of employees say training and development is their company’s most important policy
- 74% of employees believe they aren’t living up to their potential due to lack of development opportunities
When employees know you’re offering them insights and skills that will improve their careers, they want to participate!
Workshops to Feed the Mind and Spirit
“Workshop” is intentional. Whether it’s 50 minutes, or several hours or two days—virtual or in-person—we’re in this together. (No one needs to hear me speak for that long—including me!) Plus I use neuroscience to design the amount of information covered, exercises and breaks to make this engaging and useful for your people.
The goal is that they laugh, learn and walk away with at least one good idea they can use right away to make their work lives better—and improve your organization’s results.
It All Starts with You
Everything I do is custom. That means upfront research to ensure I understand your goals, your people and what they need:
- Reading background to “get” your company and industry
- Doing interviews with key leaders for a deeper understanding of the issues and goals
- Using surveys to hear directly from the participants—not just to tailor the examples, but to get them excited before the workshop
- Often having employees take personality inventories so I can adjust the style and content to their preferences
It’s true: I have a number of workshops that are my clients’ favorites. These are just examples—because your program will be all about you.
“Lynne’s presentation was enjoyable and kept everyone engaged. We felt the buzz in the office days after. People were still talking and trying to discover more about the people they were working with and communicating better. This shows the workshop left a lasting impression.
“We believe the time spent was a great investment in the lives of our employees. We look forward to working with Lynne in the future.”
Leap Over Communication Silos: Know Where They Are and What to Do
It can seem fun to be snarky about the shortcomings of other teams. But then nothing changes, and you get frustrated by not performing at your best and missing your goals. This interactive experience explores how those silos developed and the role everyone plays in maintaining them. Everyone leaves with specific actions to take to create better working relationships.
- Half-day, one- or two-day programs
- From 20 participants (virtual) to more in person
- Custom silo guidebook to use during the workshop and after as a reference

- Each person leaves with an action plan and a “buddy” for accountability
Rapport Secrets: How Leaders Create Successful Connections
Rapport makes all other things possible: connection, relationships, trust. I interviewed nearly 100 leaders in different fields and asked them, “What’s your secret to building rapport quickly and maintaining it over time with your clients and people?” This program shares their top strategies and explains the neuroscience behind why these are so effective. Everyone practices these skills so they can begin using them to improve their own connections.

Reach Unreachable People: Turn Tough Talks into Positive Change
No one ever teaches us how to have difficult conversations. This program uncovers the major reason behind conflict. And how to help people get their brains back when they’ve “lost their minds.” Then discover and practice a simple process to connect with and lead others to make sound decisions and create workable solutions.

Be the Most Persuasive Person in the Room: Build Rapport and Connection
We all have judgments about persuasion (are you thinking used car salesman?). This program confronts them. Then we explore the results of my research on how to build rapport (from the upcoming book Leaders on Rapport: Secrets to Creating Successful Connections. Next, we focus on the process everyone’s brain goes through before saying “yes.” How to read people’s bodies to read their minds. And practice how to turn every question into the right one by how you answer it.
